MODESTEP — The genre-blurring project of London musician and producer Josh Friend — is back with a brand new album and a refreshed vision for 2025. Since breaking onto the scene in 2011 with viral hit Sunlight, Modestep has become known for combining the high-octane energy of rock with the gut-punching power of dubstep. With billions of streams and shows at Glastonbury, Coachella, EDC, Ultra, Lost Lands, and even a record-setting crowd of 750,000 at Woodstock Poland – Modestep has cemented his place as one of the most powerful live forces in electronic music.

Now entering a new creative era led solely by Friend, Modestep straddles the line between live band and DJ project — still every bit as high-energy as ever. With his third studio album dropping in September, Josh describes the new sound as “capturing everything I love about dubstep, while nodding back to early Modestep — deep and wobbly with strong vocal melodies, darker and more emotional, but still written for the dancefloor.” Modestep continues to push the boundaries of electronic music while staying rooted in the underground energy that started it all.
