Also from Naarm, Firas will be on supports, with locals Nelya and Our Yard DJs to round out the night. DJ PGZ is a Gunai/Kurnai & Yorta Yorta artist, DJ and producer shaping a bold new sound in Australian dance music. Drawing from underground club cultures worldwide, he honours the Black and brown pioneers of dance music, while carving space for the next generation of First Nations artists. His sound fuses hard techno, bass-heavy syncopations, and global club styles, thriving on the duality of total control and complete abandon. A fixture of the national festival circuit, DJ PGZ has held his place at just about every stage from Meredith Music Festival to Dekmantel Naarm, with international headlines including Singapore and Hanoi. Recently, his event series and record label Ecstatic Mob has curated some of the scene's steeziest nights in Narrm, creating a meeting place for his artistic community to thrive. DJ PGZ released his first EP with Butter Sessions in July 2022 and has since dropped tracks on HAAi's DJ Kicks release in 2023, and Black Artist Database in 2024. 2025 saw "Come Round," a collaborative EP with Yikes on Butter Sessions, alongside a string of remixes and sets. The train keeps steaming in 2026 - DJ PGZ continues to break barriers and move bodies where dance serves as a unifying force of (re)connection. Firas is the Music Director at PBS 106.7FM, Melbourne's premier specialist music station. He is a broadcaster and worldly music lover with an ear out for the percussive, the seductive and the emotive. As a DJ, Firas traverses music's various forms, from rock to rave, jazz to jungle, blues, boogie, disco and punk, though he is especially roused by the rhythmic mysticism he finds in some of the more wistful sounds in techno and house. Nelya hit the scene under the stage name Dj Pillow Princess back in 2018. Nelya loves to throw down club beats from around the globe and from local underrepresented producers. As a local favourite in the queer scene in Kaurna Yerta, she does her best to mix queer intersectional and unapologetic floor fillers with nostalgic club hits. Now performing simply under the name NELYA, she has brought her signature flavour to music festivals such as Laneway and Groove in the Moo, was a guest on Triple J’s Mix Up and supported acts such as Peaches, Haiku Hands, Kira Piru, Milan Ring, Skin On Skin, Half Queen and Rinse FM’s Freshta & IZCO.
