Proceeds go to Murrah Hall. This winter, we’re transforming Murrah Hall into a community-powered boiler room for a night of local selectors, deep grooves and good energy all in support of the hall that has brought people together for generations. Funds raised throughout the night will go towards the ongoing maintenance of Murrah Hall and help support future gigs, events and community gatherings, ensuring these old floorboards keep shaking for years to come. Starting 5pm on 11 July, expect a stacked lineup of 9 DJs from Bega to the Bay delivering an intimate, immersive dance-floor experience. There’ll be warming Murrah curries, raffle prizes from generous local businesses to be won, and Song for Bob merch available. Everything on offer helping keeping the doors open and the music playing. Song for Bob is built on community, connection and mental health awareness. As always, this is a space where everyone looks after one another. Respect your mates and respect the venue. This isn’t just a fundraiser, it’s a celebration of local music, local people and the spaces that bring us together.
