Community Guidelines

Standards for participating in PartyLine Collective — practical, community-first, and built for underground music and events across Australia.

Our approach

PartyLine exists to help scenes connect more easily. These guidelines set expectations for listings, events, opportunities, enquiries and editorial participation.

Be accurate

  • Publish truthful bios, event details, lineups and opportunity descriptions
  • Update or remove outdated events and listings when things change
  • Do not impersonate artists, venues, organisers or crews
  • Report corrections via Contact if you spot an error

Be respectful

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats or targeted abuse
  • No discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, disability, religion or background
  • Disagree without attacking people — underground scenes thrive on mutual respect

Opportunities and applications

  • State payment, perks, expectations and deadlines clearly in opportunity posts
  • Do not post misleading “exposure only” calls without being upfront
  • Review applicants in good faith — accepted is a workflow step, not a confirmed booking
  • Do not spam duplicate opportunities or fake calls

Events and ticketing

  • Link to legitimate ticket pages where tickets are sold
  • Do not use PartyLine to promote unsafe, unlawful or deceptive events
  • Ticket partnerships are separate from editorial — see Partners

Content and media

  • Only upload images, mixes and media you have rights to share
  • Do not publish private information about others without consent
  • Blog and editorial submissions should follow the same accuracy and respect standards

Enforcement

We may warn, restrict, hide or remove content and accounts that breach these guidelines or our Terms of Use. Serious or repeated violations may result in removal from the platform.
