Carlos Simionato aka Caak, was born in São Paulo City, Brazil.

He had his first contact with dance music in the 90s, through radio programs, and shortly after, started attending matinees at some clubs in the city.

As a result, he had the opportunity to promote some prominent clubs in the city at that time, started attending club nights, and thus began to be increasingly enchanted by electronic music and also by the DJ’s mixing.

In the late 90s, along with his best friends, he started attending the first rave parties that began to emerge and arrive in Brazil. At the same time, he stopped attending clubs that played more commercial electronic music, only frequenting clubs that were more focused on the underground style in the São Paulo scene and that embraced the LGBTQIA+ audience more, such as Hells Club, Sound Factory, Overnight, Lov.e, and A Lôca.

He saw and experienced the RAVE movement and growth in São Paulo, attending renowned and legendary parties such as Oribapu, Naga Naja, Xxxperience, Avonts, Groove Nation, Rave Patrol, SPGroove, Techno Route, Circuito, Technopride, Fuel Techno, Fervo, Techneura, The Influence among others.

In this underground rave movement, Caak first came into contact with the more psychedelic music, PsyTrance. But soon after discovering Techno and its subgenres, such as Acid Techno and Hard Techno, his true passion and love for these styles exploded.

In 2007, Caak decided to buy his turntables along with some vinyl records, started studying and practicing the art of DJing, playing at home as a hobby and at some parties among friends.

In 2012, he took an official DJ course at DJBAN, an electronic music center focused on courses, training, music production, and equipment. With this, he gained more theoretical and practical knowledge of how DJing works.

In 2013, the year he decided to do an exchange program in Australia, Caak had the opportunity to play for the first time in Melbourne. Always looking for the most underground techno parties, organized by local crews, such as Bunker and Tekno Mulisha.

During this time, due to the high cost of bringing his equipment to Australia, Caak ended up acquiring a Traktor S4 to continue playing. Delving into the features of this controller and making the most of it for his constant practices.

Now residing in Perth, Western Australia, Caak has been given the opportunity to showcase all his knowledge and love for underground electronic music over all these years, playing during the summer at some beach raves in Fremantle, Eden Festival in Darwin, and Amplifier Bar for C2U8011 100% TECHNO promoted by ACA SOUNDSYSTEM CREW.

Balancing his time between studies, working as a Chef in the Hospitality Industry, and doing what he loves most, playing Underground Techno!

Taking national references from DJs such as PET Duo, Renato Cohen, Mau Mau, Camilo Rocha, Anderson Noise, Dj Marky, DJ Julião, Coruja, Mara Bruiser, Nori, The Lady Machine (DJ Kammy), Tiago Santos, Marcio M, Acid Chochi, Bunnys, Alex S, Snoop, Osclighter (Eto), Sheefit (Gab), Alex TB, Dj Sub, TRB, Diogo Ramos, Buchecha, DJ Murphy, Dj Lukas, Fernanda Martins, Candy Cox, DJ Regis Lopez among others who have contributed and continue to contribute to the electronic scene in Brazil.
