Perth’s Queen of Hard Dance, NextJen, has been at the forefront of the local rave scene for over two decades. A DJ, producer and promoter, she’s the driving force behind Rave On and Ascension — Perth’s premier hard dance events — known for bringing euphoric energy and underground sounds to the dancefloor.
From her early days obsessed with UK/happy hardcore, oldskool and drum & bass, to her signature sound today — a fusion of uplifting vocals, breakbeats and pounding bass — NextJen has always flown the flag for fast, high-energy music.
After taking out first place in remix competitions hosted by El Hornet (Pendulum) and Entity in 2022, and earning an honourable mention from Darren Styles in his remix comp, she made her label debut on global powerhouse OneSeventy in 2023, with more releases following in 2024.
